This is an improved version of my resource gate. It is more compact, works with mine carts, and items passing through it are not influenced by the water flow.

I plan on using this for a complex mine cart storage system. An obvious application for this gate is to use it as a mine cart booster. It is stationary, meaning there is no issues with it stopping if chunks unload.
