This device is used to control the flow of resource drops, such as those from an automatic cactus farm or a mob trap.

Connecting a lever allows you to turn the flow on/off. Both connecting a lever and a button allows the drops to gather over time and then all fall at once when the lever is switched or the button is pressed.

The device is not useful to most people, but it may be useful in some complicated builds.
